Tarpon

This piece is constructed of two layers of laminated African Mahogany and 6061 aluminum. The mahogany is dyed instead of stained which allows the wood characteristics to show through and is then coated with acrylic lacquer. The aluminum is cut and then polished to a high gloss. The back is finished in flat black and is not intended for display.

This freestanding piece comes with the parts and hangers so it can be converted from a freestanding to a wall piece.

The wood can be cleaned with a damp rag and the metal can be polished with aluminum polish if needed; however, because of the high degree of polishing, the metal should not require additional polishing. The metal parts are attached with set screws so they can be removed it required.
