"Rainbow Glasses" celebrate life, color, and freedom by incorporating every shade of the rainbow in line with a twist. To form the wild striped pattern, colored canes of glass are rolled up and sniped so that the colors comes to a point in the bottom of every glass. During each sip, it is as if a colored vortex is swirling throughout your drink. Each piece has its own specific color arrangement that will never again be replicated exactly, making it truly a unique drinking experience. No matter what you're drinking, it is guaranteed to taste it's best in hand blown glass. Plus each glass is dishwasher safe so clean up is a breeze. Each glass is handmade and will contain variations between pieces.

Bay Blown Glass

Peter Stucky and Dana Rottler
"We transform temporal experiences into timeless treasures. Our collaborative partnership is a dance expressed through the natural fluidity of glass. We aim to spark joy, share our passion, and inspire others through our playful sculptures and vibrant glassware."

Working together as Bay Blown Glass, Peter Stucky and Dana Rottler create art that embraces wild rainbow colors, fluid forms, and whimsical fantasies to captivate all. Inspired by natural wonder, their unique glassworks have an ability to capture fleeting moments of euphoria for the world to hold on to. Creating tableware portraying freedom of expression and unique sculptures idealizing beauty is what makes their work exceptional.

Using traditional glassblowing techniques and freehand sculpting as their methods of choice, Stucky and Rottler ensure each piece is truly one of a kind. After gathering molten glass onto blowpipes and punty rods, the artists manipulate the glass by rolling, coloring, cutting, pulling, heating, cooling, twisting, blowing, and/or squeezing to shape their unique creations.

Peter Stucky and Dana Rottler began their journey together while studying for their BFAs in glass at California College of the Arts and Crafts. After graduating, they went on to run Paly Fiery Arts, a nonprofit glass program at Palo Alto High School. There, they were able to develop designs and hone their skills to create Bay Blown Glass. Currently they live and work in Vallejo California where they continue to push the envelope with there unique, one of a kind glass creations for the world to enjoy.
