Corey Silverman created The Furnace in the summer of 2007.

Corey Silverman was formally trained as a glass artist at Alfred University in NY. After graduating with his BFA, Silverman worked with several glass studios before opening his own studio near Denver.

After much experimentation, Silverman found himself always coming back to the blown form. "I love the immediacy found in making a blown vessel."

Beautiful wine glasses

Birthday gift for husband... he likes red and I like white..

Excellent products and service

I have ordered several sets of glasses and several vases as gifts. The communication about the delivery status of these custom products is excellent as are the products themselves. I recommend them without hesitation. The only caveat is that you must plan ahead. Because these are custom made, you have to wait for them...plus allowing for shipping time.

Beautiful Glasses

I purchased the white and blue wine glasses. I liked them so much, I purchased a second set of 4. They are beautiful, fit nicely in your hand, and hold a decent pour leaving room for the wine to breathe.

Lovely glasses - nice size

I purchased two white and two blue glasses and am very happy with my purchase. The glasses are a nice size; not too big for your hand but holding a fair amount of wine. They are also sturdy enough to not worry about them in the dishwasher. I will probably be purchasing more.
