These ocean-themed hand-blown glass pumpkins are layered in transparent turquoise blue and accents of white & amber to capture the feeling of the pacific crashing waves and white-water spray. This non-seasonal design complements fall décor and is perfect to be displayed year-round. Each pumpkin is exquisitely finished with an elegantly twirled amber stem capturing a balance of grace & whim. Each piece will vary and have its own bit of character just like a real pumpkin.

Leonoff Art Glass

Leonoff Art Glass

"The luminescent qualities of glass as it responds to light appeal to me. I am drawn to the potential of a material that can vary from translucent to opaque in a brilliant range of colors and gradations."

Leonoff Art Glass was founded by Nick Leonoff in Carmel Valley, California, in 2005. The studio creates blown glass pieces designed by Nick Leonoff and created by Nick and a team of skilled craftsmen. Leonoff Art Glass operates in both Carmel Valley, California, and Brooklyn, New York.

Nick Leonoff creates blown glass using a variety of techniques, including the Swedish overlay technique, in which one bubble of glass is inverted over another to create layers of color on the interior and exterior of the piece. After the glass is annealed, the surface is carved with diamond wheels to remove layers of glass and expose the colors within.

Nick Leonoff began working with glass as a stained glass apprentice but was soon drawn to the intensity of working with the material in its molten state. Leonoff graduated with honors from Pepperdine University in 2002. He has studied at the Pilchuck Glass School, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Pittsburgh Glass Center, and the Corning Museum of Glass. He has also spent countless hours meticulously refining his craft and aesthetic in his studio.
