Village Glass Studio
Mike Wallace studied glassblowing at the Corning Museum of Glass and the Toledo Museum of Art, where he completed several years of independent study. In 2001, he began to pursue glass art as a full-time career. Currently, he works out of his own studio which, as part of a series of "back in time" attractions, also includes blacksmith and carpentry shops.

We got the red, and it's sitting on a black baby grand piano. It looks stunning.
I purchased Sqiggle in red and it is drama personified. For some reason I had thought the piece would be transparent glass but it is opaque. That in no way changes it's beauty and impact. The red has a streak of black and I placed it by a black piano. It looks fantastic. I love it.
"Squiggle" is a simple but ornate beautiful piece of art glass that makes a bold statement in our living room which is very contemporary, The twist in the vase/urn makes it very fun and modern.. it's that touch of stunningness that will turn heads and will be a conversational piece. We are very pleased with our purchases from Artful Home - this vase and the various ornaments we've gotten through the site all came very carefully packaged and exceeded expectations.
The first one came with the top part broken off as its a bit fragile. The artist promptly made a new one and Artful home arranged for UPS to pick up in front of my door the next day. The vase is lovely. The only thing I have issue with is that its a bit wobbly on the bottom ..its not completely flat. That may be adjusted with some self stick tabs. Perhaps another vase won't have the same issue as mine does as they are made to order.
