These artful blown glass vessels work equally well as vases or statement decor, displaying melded colors in a duotone, ombre effect that moves from light at the top to dark at the base of the vessel. The organic form captures the inherent fluidity of glass, and as such, the exact dimensions and contours will vary.

The Furnace Inc.
"My mission is to explore new techniques and discover all the possibilities of glass making."

Corey Silverman created The Furnace in the summer of 2007.

Corey Silverman was formally trained as a glass artist at Alfred University in NY. After graduating with his BFA, Silverman worked with several glass studios before opening his own studio near Denver.

After much experimentation, Silverman found himself always coming back to the blown form. "I love the immediacy found in making a blown vessel."
