Susan Kinzig spent seven years as a graphic designer before turning to her love of jewelry making. She enjoys warm, rich colors and the textures of oxidized metals. For her mosaic inlays, she buries patinated brass and copper for days at a time in order to get the color and texture she wants.

Exquisite Earrings

I rarely review purchases unless I feel strongly about them, which I do about these earrings. These beaded hoops by Susan Kinzig are exquisitely beautiful. They are colorful and made with all of my very favorite stones. Her love of the natural world is well represented by these beauties, and her artistry is admirable. I collect earrings, as I love the ways jewelers express their art through metals, stones, and design. Ms. Kinzig has surpassed my expectations; these have become among my very favorite earrings. Kudos to the artist; I look forward to seeing more of her work here.
