Diana Ferguson
Diana Ferguson views her jewelry as a form of artistic expression and a means of connecting with others. Her designs aim to blend comfort, style, and a touch of playful individuality, resulting in eye-catching pieces that function as art, fashion statements, and personal expressions. Diana focuses on uniqueness, quality, ease of wear, and versatility to ensure the work resonates with customers.
As an intuitive designer, Ferguson employs a variety of off-loom bead-weaving techniques, from Peyote Stitch to Square Stitch and beyond, allowing color and pattern to unfold into the finished object. She fashions her designs using a needle, monofilament thread, and glass, ceramic, and semi-precious stone beads. She is fascinated by beads as structural elements and is constantly inspired by the multitude of colors, shapes, and textures available.
Ferguson holds a B.A. in Art with an emphasis in Art History from Northern Illinois University and is a self-taught jewelry artist.
