In my work I want to capture our souls, experiences, relationships, deep emotions, feelings and how these influence our existence. I am interested in the inner and the spiritual aspects of our lives."

Klara Chavarria grew up in Guatemala City in a family of artists and teachers and started studying academic painting with a renowned artist and professor when she was just eight years old. She holds a BFA from Kansas State University concentrating in design and painting. She has had studios in Cincinnati, OH, Chicago, IL and presently in Miami, FL, where she currently works and resides.
