Schlossberg creates her work using unusual combinations of materials: tiny, hand-woven glass seed beads, carved resin, glass enamel, and fabricated metalwork.
Lauren Schlossberg received her BFA in painting from Carnegie Mellon University before attending the Jewelry and Metalsmithing Continuing Studies Program at the Maryland Institute College of Art. The artist's jewelry has been exhibited at the Portland Museum of Contemporary Craft, the Smithsonian Craft Show, and SOFA Chicago and New York.
