Hand-fabricated with 14k gold, and other mixed metals, these elegantly artful earrings feature resin cast in sterling silver which is then cured, ground, and sanded to a fine, soapstone-like finish; artist Eileen Sutton then adds details via carving and inlaid wires. Stainless steel post backs.

When Eileen Sutton pierced her first piece of copper plate at age seventeen, she was instantly hooked. During her early training, she discovered epoxy resin, a material that excited her with its color possibilities and technical challenges.

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Sutton studied at Tyler School of Art. Her first studio was in the space of the late Olaf Skoogfors, a pioneer in the field of art jewelry—an experience that paved the way for where she would go with her work.

Smashing!

These earrings are beautifully crafted and the design is so unique. They have an art deco-ish feel to them. I will wear these with jeans and dresses. The color is so rich and goes with everything. You can tell the artist put a lot of love into making these!

Wonderful earrings!

I've had these in red for about 5 years and they're favorites. Beautifully designed and fabricated. I always get compliments. I also have them in a Wedgwood blue. I wish they were available in black and/or a darker blue. Or other colors?
