Peg Fetter creates work that balances between toughness and delicacy, that combines the intrinsic preciousness of jewelry with the edginess of blacksmithing.

Fetter received her MFA from Washington University in St. Louis, where she studied with Heikki Seppa. Additional classes at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts inspired Fetter to combine steel with metalsmithing to create the organic and industrial quality for which her work is known.

Fetter has taught workshops around the country, as well as teaching at Craft Alliance, Fontbonne University, and St. Louis University.

Love these earrings!

I love these earrings, exactly what I was hoping for. They are delicate yet with some edge to them, great juxtaposition of materials, very well made. I am petite, and have a hard time finding drop earrings that are interesting without being too long or heavy for me. These earrings are a perfect balance of design elements, and hang very nicely, with a little swing to them.
