Peg Fetter creates work that balances between toughness and delicacy, that combines the intrinsic preciousness of jewelry with the edginess of blacksmithing.

Fetter received her MFA from Washington University in St. Louis, where she studied with Heikki Seppa. Additional classes at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts inspired Fetter to combine steel with metalsmithing to create the organic and industrial quality for which her work is known.

Fetter has taught workshops around the country, as well as teaching at Craft Alliance, Fontbonne University, and St. Louis University.

Sculptural Beauty!!!

Just got my earrings in gold for my birthday! I love the two-tone look and the sculptural design.
They are such a soft color, as if you are in candle light. I know I will have many fun times wearing them.

Gorgeous and I wore them immediately.

These days it is hard to find plain gold earrings (without stones added to them) and thus I was delighted to receive these. These are unusual and have a distinctive "design as art" feel to them. I have already had several positive comments made about them.
