Peg Fetter creates work that balances between toughness and delicacy, that combines the intrinsic preciousness of jewelry with the edginess of blacksmithing.

Fetter received her MFA from Washington University in St. Louis, where she studied with Heikki Seppa. Additional classes at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts inspired Fetter to combine steel with metalsmithing to create the organic and industrial quality for which her work is known.

Fetter has taught workshops around the country, as well as teaching at Craft Alliance, Fontbonne University, and St. Louis University.

My All-Time Favorite Necklace

This is such a beautiful piece! I purchased it at the artist's trunk show five years ago and enjoy it as much now as I did the day I bought it. It is extremely versatile- it can be worn in many different ways on many different occasions. Never once have I worn it without several people stopping me to ask about the necklace and the amazing designer!
