Fabricated using a meticulous process with gold and silver wire and tubing, painting, and casting and finishing clear resin. Finished with a pieced chain using a variety of precious metals.

Chain fabricated by the artist with lobster clasp closure and 2" extender. Adjustable 16-18".

When Eileen Sutton pierced her first piece of copper plate at age seventeen, she was instantly hooked. During her early training, she discovered epoxy resin, a material that excited her with its color possibilities and technical challenges.

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Sutton studied at Tyler School of Art. Her first studio was in the space of the late Olaf Skoogfors, a pioneer in the field of art jewelry—an experience that paved the way for where she would go with her work.

Attractive pendant

Very attractive piece of quality work. However, the red resin in the piece I received isn't as saturated as in the online image.

Beautifully crafted!

Although the piece is a bit smaller than I expected, what it lacks in size, it makes up for in interest and fine workmanship. A lovely necklace that works alone (thinking white blouse and at the neck) or you can combine with another complimentary piece to make a statement.
Signing by the artist on the back makes it special. I asked for a bit longer chain and was graciously accommodated--making the necklace more wearable, say with a turtleneck.
