Inspired by Salvador Dalí's The Persistence of Memory, this pendant was designed to evoke the concept of time melting away. Each oculus opening and the diamonds (0.28ct) set in a 18k yellow gold halo surrounding the largest space allude to the gears of a watch. This oversized pendant is concave in shape, with its blackened silver base framed by a yellow gold hammer-textured piece that appears circular from the front, but a side view reveals undulations that allow it to capture and reflect layers of light and shadow. This piece reveals the preciousness and impermanence of time.

Dana’s small team of master jewelers in NYC create each piece from reclaimed and fair-mined gold, sterling silver, and carefully-chosen, responsibly-sourced diamonds and gemstones. Using matte, textured, and oxidized finishes, plus one-of-a-kind gems with unique patterns and inclusions, each jewel celebrates their earthy elements and the hands they passed through before becoming otherworldly wearable art.

Dana trained at Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts before apprenticing in Menlo Park, Santa Fe, and New York. She won Fashion Group International’s prestigious Rising Star award, numerous InStore awards, and the Fairmined 100’s Best Colored Gemstone Collection. Publications from Vogue to the Knot have featured her work, and celebrities such as Sara Bareilles and Ashley Graham have worn her designs.
