"I love simple, elegant lines tweaked to call attention. The loudest person is not necessarily right, just loud. Listen carefully to quiet individuals - they can have the most poignant ideas. The same philosophy applies to my jewelry. A piece can be extremely bold and strong, but in a modest, gentle manner. It quietly speaks for itself with great confidence; this creates a magnificent presence."

She does not draw attention to herself. She observes from the outside looking in. Even little, she refused to wear clothing with logos. All she wanted was something that no one else had, nothing flashy or showy, just different, independent of others. This is her approach to designing as well. Nothing outrageous, but different enough to catch attention without screaming for it.

Her jewelry starts as a sketch. Each piece is hand fabricated using metal sheet, wire, saw, files, sandpaper, torch, etc. to get the desired look. Depending on the piece, it is then cast or continued to be fabricated by hand. She is toying with designing with computers, but that is an uphill battle, she firmly believes her hands are meant for creating.

She attended Washington University in St. Louis with the intention of majoring in psychology and becoming a pediatrician but graduated with an Art History degree. Her study of jewelry continued at RISD, Tyler School of Art and FIT. She was the design director for a jewelry designer, had her own business in the knitting industry, and returned to her true love of designing jewelry since 2017.
