Go Lightly

"I am a mostly self-taught clothing designer and seamstress whose love of handwork was born at a very early age. "

Designer Kiki Verveniotis launched Go Lightly in the early nineties in New York City, and it has since become a beloved go-to collection for women who appreciate spirited, ageless, trend-proof style as well as superfine workmanship. These are pieces to keep forever.

Kiki Verveniotis's first and most precious memories were of summer trips to her family's Greek island. While there, her aunts taught her to do needlework, as every young girl spent years building a collection of handworked linens and decorations intended for their own homes after they married. Today, the designer works out of her little house by the water in East Norwalk Harbor, Connecticut, where she sews every piece herself.

Perfect fit

I was truly impressed with these pants. They fit perfectly, feel comfortable, hang nicely, and look great. They are wonderful for hot summer days. I wouldn't change a thing.

Perfect Linen Pants

I love these pants! The linen is lightweight, which is what one must have in our Florida heat. I have these in the light gray color, as well, which I've worn several times. The waistband has held up well, so I'm not sure what the other reviewer was referring to. Of course, linen wrinkles when it's worn, but a quick go-round in the dryer smooths the fabric in an instant. I highly recommend this pant.

Great Design, But Lighter Linen Than Expected

I own a LOT of linen - love how it wears and wears! - even after many washes it retains its cool elegance and shape. The fit on these pants is excellent! I used the size guide and it was right on.

So I was a little disappointed that the linen used in these pants is lighter weight, almost see-through. It doesn't have the firm & fine hand I like in linen. Sadly, I will return these pants .

Not Goo Look For Me

I love the linen feel, the pleated lower hem, but in general it looked like a feed sack on me. The elastic in the waistband doesn't look like it will hold up for a long period of time.
