Kevin Lin Jewelry
"My work is both functional and sculptural. I am inspired by architecture, nature, and the figure."

Kevin Lin's style can be described as a fusion of minimal and modern elements, manifesting in sleek and understated, everyday, androgynous pieces. His work recalls architectural elements from his home country of Taiwan through the use of contrasting color and texture. Timelessness is key, as he prioritizes classic pieces that transcend trend and exude enduring elegance.

Kevin Lin works with sterling, 18k and 22k gold, as well as precious and semi-precious stones. He creates his work with traditional metalsmithing techniques including fabrication, soldering, fusing, sawing, forming, engraving, and texturing.

Kevin Lin received his MFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He has taken workshops and given workshops over the years. Kevin has also been a jewelry instructor at St. Louis community College for over 18 years.
