After seven years as a graphic designer, Susan Kinzig began a career as a jewelry designer. Fifteen years later, her knowledge of jewelry design and metalworking had grown extensively, and she decided to expand her creative outlook to include lighting design. Caryn Kinzig, Susan's sister-in-law, had spent 20 years in an investment career when she decided to leave the corporate world and follow her creative passion. Susan and Caryn teamed up to form Kinzig Design Home.
Susan and Caryn work together to create each of their lamps. They incorporate proprietary elements with vibrant glass (blown by two glass studios) and solid brass and copper accents. The lampshades are deeply colored and sewn from embroidered silks and rich fabrics. The lamps are individually finished with patinated metals and surface textures that will not fade or discolor, and are topped with distinctive finials.

I love beautiful things and this is that. Appears to be well made except for the stability of the beaded chain pull and finial. Feels like plastic beads, I'd be surprised if they're crystal, but should be for the cost. Somewhat disappointing but keeping it because I'm 92 and packing it up and returning it would be difficult. Probably would not order again.
June-2022. Was excited to get my lamp. Very dissatisfied with how the pull chain hangs directly down instead of "away" from the center pole, so it's not seen barely at all. Really changed the overall look of pull chain & finial matching. I've had to turn lamp way to the side to even see pull chain & had to feel for it to use on-off which makes cord showing. I'm going to keep it because I'm so fed up "seeing is not what ur getting" like the picture of a "WHOPPER" doesn't resemble what they serve you!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ANY PULL CHAIN LAMP

This lamp is just beautiful and the lampshade is absolutely stunning. We love it!
When we received this package and started opening it, it felt like Christmas morning! When we saw what was inside, it was definitely BETTER than Christmas morning. This stunning lamp is not only gorgeous but it is also a beautiful WORK OF ART! We purchased "Fiona" after much back and forth because it was actually difficult to pick one out of all these fabulous choices. It was the right decision to go on a hand-painted floral Bombay Chest that is at the entry of our home and is the first thing to be seen. We have already had several compliments on it from everyone who has been inside our home recently. I can't wait to purchase another one of these uniquely gorgeous lamps!
