Zetamari Mosaic Artworks
"I create intricate mosaic pieces made of precisely shaped glass tile and beads, resulting in a rich, soothing symmetry of sparkling color and texture. I create my work for the home, heart, and spirit."

Angie Heinrich aspires to depict an interconnected world where seemingly small and inconsequential experiences affect the whole. The medium of mosaic illustrates how carefully shaped pieces can unite with other tesserae to create something rich with texture, color, and meaning. There is something magical about the way mosaic offers a simultaneously detailed and holistic view.

Each piece starts with a base of high-quality birch which is then tessellated with hand-shaped glass tiles, beads, and metal using traditional mosaic techniques. Heinrich uses only the finest materials collected from around the world. Each piece is finished with a colored cement, resulting in a lightweight, resilient, and easy-to-hang jewel for your wall.

Heinrich's passion for this ancient art form led her to study with masters in Italy, Spain, and the US, where she was instilled with a pride of workmanship that is evident in each handcrafted piece. She constantly expands her knowledge and techniques through experimentation and continuing education workshops.
