This triple-strand baroque pearl necklace is a modern take on a classic. Hanging from a hand-sculpted, bronze triple bail pendant are three strands of lustrous pearls. Interior strand are cream-hued 9-10mm pearls, the middle strand are 10-11mm cream-hued pearls and the exterior strand is strung with 13-15mm baroque pearls ranging from cream/off-white to a soft blush pink. Each pearl is separated by a brass saucer bead. The necklace is finished with a vintage-inspired, double barrel chain, a 2" extension and an iconic mini charm lock.

Each piece from the Lock and Key studio is inspired by a female luminary who left a lasting impact both culturally and in the arts; this piece is inspired by 20th century prima ballerina Anna Pavlova.

Lock and Key
"I have been immersed in the arts my entire life and have had the privilege to be surrounded by amazing talents starting with my parents. My mom is a painter and my dad a photographer/framer. Throughout my creative journey—as a professional dancer, a fashion designer working at fashion houses such as Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and Isaac Mizrahi, and most recently a costume designer—story telling has always been at its core. I am excited every day to go into the studio, get my hands dirty sculpting with art clay, and use my jewelry as a way not only to tell my story but yours. I consider each piece a bit of style armor. Inspired by a muse from the creative worlds I have lived in, they provide inner confidence to help you, the wearer, slay your day and create new stories to tell the world."

Tony is an artist that is inspired by the world around him. Referencing details, colors, and textures from the worlds his muses inhabit, he designs pieces that are distinct, rich with character and detail, and rooted in the past, giving his modern pieces authenticity.

Tony works primarily in bronze Art Clay, sculpting the master pendant for each piece. Art Clay has is composed of micro particles of metal, water, and a natural binder. The firing process binds the metal together and burns off the clay, leaving a solid metal piece of art. Once refined, fired, and polished, it is casted in solid bronze and in select cases plated in 18k gold. Pieces are set with semi-precious stones that are custom cut in Jaipur, India. With vintage-inspired chain with wrapped stones, each piece is a modern piece of wearable art.

Tony began as a dancer. At the age of seven he began his dance training because his older sister did. Dance stuck for Tony as did the entire world of the performing arts. He assisted his dad in creating set pieces for productions and learned how to hand sew his costumes. While studying at the NYU Dance Conservatory, he was exposed to his first taste of the fashion industry, interning with Betsey Johnson. Due to injury, he returned to school, this time the Fashion Institute of Technology, while assisting at Helmut Lang. During his studies he was hired by Ralph Lauren and he never looked back. Learning from the likes of Ralph, Calvin, Isaac, Viviene Tam, BCBG, and even Disney, jobs proved Tony's best university. Self-trained as a jewelry artist, Tony is always experimenting and pushing his sculpting skills to meet his imagination.
