"For me, aesthetic integrity, purity, and even freshness depend in large part on the highest levels of craftsmanship. Working in my studio to improve skills and knowledge, I feel like a "kid in a candy store." There will always be more to learn and ways to improve. I know I will never tire of this exhilarating process."

Meyers approaches her design and craftsmanship with a purity that resonates throughout her work. It may be seen in the details and quality of her pieces, and experienced as an aesthetic element when they are worn.

Meyers's work involves a variety of techniques, including cutting, hydraulic press and/or die forming, mill rolling, soldering, oxidizing, depletion gilding to reveal the purest silver color, or utilizing the keum bo technique. She is proficient with vitreous, kiln-fired enamels, often under-firing them for a "sugar" texture, or sifting the enamel and "painting" her designs with the resultant fine grains.

Meyers has a bachelor's degree in design and tailoring from Texas Tech and a master of fine arts degree from Cranbrook Academy. She has furthered her learning in workshops with Andy Cooperman, Pat Flynn, Micki Lippe, Sarah Perkins, and Linda Darty. She continues her learning process with daily work in her studio.
