Drawing on both the structural and metaphorical aspects of arch and suspension bridges, this table represents a solid and stable structure while also serving as a symbol of transition and moving on in life. Constructed of bent plywood laminations with exposed edges and layered with a black dyed cherry veneer, these curved supports beautifully contrast with the white cast concrete that mimics a natural stone base and provides tremendous stability.

There are two choices for the top: walnut burl veneer or maple burl veneer. Both tops incorporate the artist's unique use of pigmented epoxy with which he has inlaid some accent lines, further drawing on the forms of the great bridges of the world.
