This is a gorgeous, well made and extremely flattering skirt made from a fairly heavy weight denim with good stretch and pockets!! I insist on pockets in all of my pants and skirts now. However I highly recommend sizing down from your usual Lisa Bayne size. I normally wear a Med or petite M in all LB garments. But after reading reviews I decided to take a chance and order a Small and I'm glad I did. Altho it's a tad snug in the waist, it fits well and is just so flattering. I don't think it would be if I'd ordered a Medium as usual. My only quibble is that I wish there was a button at the top of the side zipper to make zipping it up easier as I am not a big fan of side zippers. It it works and I love it.

I never get compliments on anything at church, but while we were talking about my book being published, a friend said," I can never find a jeans' skirt that looks good on me. At break time when we meet everybody, I gave her a note that said "Artful Home." I also gave her the name of my book to be made into a movie.
