"I am a mostly self-taught clothing designer and seamstress whose love of handwork was born at a very early age. "

Designer Kiki Verveniotis launched Go Lightly in the early nineties in New York City, and it has since become a beloved go-to collection for women who appreciate spirited, ageless, trend-proof style as well as superfine workmanship. These are pieces to keep forever.

Kiki Verveniotis's first and most precious memories were of summer trips to her family's Greek island. While there, her aunts taught her to do needlework, as every young girl spent years building a collection of handworked linens and decorations intended for their own homes after they married. Today, the designer works out of her little house by the water in East Norwalk Harbor, Connecticut, where she sews every piece herself.
