Barbara Bayne

"I find inspiration in the natural world around me—from the shapes of rocks and tree stumps and from the shadows and textures of the forest."

All of Barbara Bayne's jewelry is made by hand. Each piece begins as a sheet of sterling silver or 18K gold. Her first step is texturing the surface of the metal. The pieces are then die formed in steel dies, many of which she makes herself.

Her workspace is in the woods—a good place for her to gather inspiration.
