Palette of Life

Searching my inner emotions, the artist begins her paintings by applying color with a palette knife, then scrape away sections. With brush in hand, she starts adding shapes at random, then reconciling the composition with shapes that complement each other. Leaving some of the scrapings for depth, she eliminates some so the canvas has an integrity. On gallery-wrapped canvas with painted sides.
