But she knows there's no escape and watches as they slide gently into the background. The pandemic world, like a game of cards, carelessly selects each player to win or lose and all must stay until the party ends. But silently, arranged against the walls of another room, artwork watches over them, recording all these moments in time and reminding us that indeed we do survive to win the game with wisdom enough to play again.
