Gardens are little slices of heaven where we relax and unwind from our busy lives so why not adorn them with our fabulous Birds of Beauty for the garden? A little sparkle and bright pop of color that is sure to put a smile on your face and be the envy of your neighbors, the artist's birds are easily staked in any location at a variety of heights. Embedded with a copper tube that will patina over time, our stunning birds require no feeding and won’t fly away. Handmade in our Pontiac, MI studio, each bird represents a heartfelt sentiment making it the perfect addition to your collection or a thoughtful gift for friends and family. Included with each bird is a card describing their meaning. No room in the garden? Plant them in a container. No outside space? Stake them in an indoor plant and enjoy them all year long!

April Wagner

"I love working with molten glass. It is a responsive, captivating material that continually engages and challenges my creativity. In my work, I like to play with form, texture, color, and function. "

Wagner's passion for glass is unparalleled by anything else in her life. Committed to a lifelong exploration of this fascinating medium, Wagner is constantly creating new designs and loves the challenge of working with a 2000-degree material. When she's not working in glass, Wagner loves gardening and playing with her cat, Shiva.

Wagner and her team of glassblowers work together to create contemporary blown glass pieces. Whether creating functional or decorative work, her approach combines a commitment to quality with an emphasis on sophisticated color theory and patterning.

April Wagner received her BFA in glass from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit after spending a couple of years at Alfred University in New York. Before graduating, she began her business, Epiphany Studios, and has been successfully operating her studio in Pontiac, Michigan for more than twenty years.
