Soda Glass House
Drawing from our extensive collection of traditional antique glassblowing molds and tools, we work to develop our own molds and tools through use of 3D modeling, CNC machining, and various fabrication processes. This mixture of older and newer processes inspires our products.
We use traditional glassblowing techniques and tools to shape hot glass in our glassblowing studio. We like to collect other kinds of inspiring tools such as Belgian Waffle Presses to stamp glass into.
We both studied glass in College at MassArt and RISD. This followed by working for other glass artists such as Dan Dailey and Toots Zynsky and gathering skills in their studios. We then worked in glass production for other companies such Tracey Glover Studio, Providence Art Glass, and Gather Glass. The glassblowing production model inspired us to start Soda Glass House.
